The tech industry wouldn’t be so ascendent if it weren’t for the business side, too. Here at Techsylvania, we have nurtured and supported the tech community through our events and initiatives, but at some point we have identified was a strong need to focus on the startup ecosystem, in-depth and hands-on.

That’s how Startup Avalanche was born back in 2016, an ice-breaking competition for startups that speak business. We have created this additional event together with Risky Business in order to support early stage and give them a challenging environment to evolve in.

Startup Avalanche is a 2-days pitching competition which will take place on (date) during the Techsylvania conference. Here we challenge startup that is eager to showcase their business for international awareness and rewards.

You have the chance to present your product’s promise on the stage of Techsylvania, in front of many professionals in the industry and potential investors.

If you think you have what it takes and meet the startup eligibility requirements, you’ll have 4 minutes to tell and 2 minutes to show your idea in front of our jury.

The Grand Prize – A trip to Silicon Valley

A startup competition comes with benefits as networking and resource opportunities for each participant. But winning sure does come with its perks, too

The Grand Prize will be awarded the most promising startup. This consists of a tailored trip to the Silicon Valley for the winning team, for 9 days with all expenses paid by the organizers (including flight, hotel and per diem).

Your tour will include visits to Silicon Valley hotspots, including meetings with investors, accelerators, angels, VCs, executives, founders, tech wizards, and more.
